The 2016 International Aquatic Plants Layout Contest!

by sikbitz

First of all let me explain what this is, it’s called Aquascaping!

Aquascaping is the craft of arranging aquatic plants, as well as rocks, stones, cavework, or driftwood, in an aesthetically pleasing manner within an aquarium—in effect, gardening under water.

The International Aquatic Plants Layout Contest is the biggest in the world and this year it had a total of 2,336 entries from 68 counties.

Each entry is graded out of 100 in various different categories but a focus is placed on the recreation of a fishes habitat which can gain a piece up to 50 points.

I could never fit all the entries onto one post so check out the video below that has 127 of the top entries. I did try to find the full list but couldn’t find more.
